Shoot me - 5 years photography at Glamcult

Glamcult magazine celebrates its five year anniversary. What started as an underground paper in 2004, has grown into one of Holland’s leading independent lifestyle magazines. To celebrate, Glamcult has organized an exhibition with portraits of the many artists they interviewed and photographed over the past years.

Bored by the mostly dull and old-fashioned press photos, Glamcult from the start decided to take the control over the photography of bands and artists. The portraits are characterised by their raw and unconventional style. 

The exhibition contains photos of The Kills, Primal Scream, Rufus Wainwright, Jamie Lidell, Joan as Policewoman, Lykke Li, Ladyhawke, Eagles of Death Metal, Bloc Party, Queens of the Stone Age, Joost van Bellen, Bunny Rabbit, The Raveonettes, CocoRosie, Mark Ronson, The Dø and many others.
